NABIL SHABAN

Writer, poet, actor, artist, playwright, film and theatre director and producer, Nabil Shaban also co-founded the Graeae Theatre Company which promotes performers with disabilities. He is a tireless disability campaigner and in December 1997, was awarded an Honorary Doctorate from the University of Surrey, for his revolutionary work within the performing arts and for changing public perceptions of disabled people.
